About the position
The Maintenance Worker II is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for buildings and grounds at assigned locations. This role emphasizes customer service, safety, and adherence to maintenance protocols, ensuring facilities remain in optimal condition.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, and office equipment.
- Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep the facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
- Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Reports on any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
- Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
