About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who is detail-oriented and possesses strong problem-solving skills. The Maintenance Person will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Systems to track work orders.
• Operate and troubleshoot logic controllers as needed for various systems.
• Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Experience in residential painting is desirable.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact positively with staff and residents.
