About the position
Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of the facility. The role involves performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks to provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily rounds and inspect the facility for issues that need to be repaired.
- Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs.
- Conduct painting jobs as needed.
- Follow up on maintenance request logs and make appropriate corrections.
- Perform other duties as requested by the staff and supervisors, such as furniture moves and equipment repairs.
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance rounds as assigned, assessing different aspects of the facility.
- Assist with all assigned special projects as designated by the Maintenance Director.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years maintenance experience in a nursing home setting.
