About the position

The Maintenance Worker at Hauck Homes, Inc. is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of community grounds, streets, equipment, and utility systems within manufactured home communities. This role involves both outdoor and occasional indoor work, focusing on repairs and maintenance to ensure properties are in salable condition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of community grounds and streets.
• Perform simple repairs to household systems such as plumbing and electrical.
• Engage in larger projects like tree trimming and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with repairs on sewer or water mains as needed.
• Mow and trim weeds during the summer and snow plow in the winter.
• Ensure the property is well-maintained and presentable.

Requirements

• Own basic power and hand tools (wrenches, pliers, cordless drill, etc.).
• Comfortable performing simple repairs to household systems.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to maintenance and repair.
• Good driving record for operating company vehicles.
• Past construction or repair experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Familiarity with operating maintenance equipment.
