About the position
Waynesburg University is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance worker. This is a full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., position.
Responsibilities
- Perform building maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
- Operate University maintenance vehicles and tractors.
- Follow written and oral instructions related to maintenance work.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of practices and work methods associated with building maintenance and groundskeeping.
- Superior knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, air conditioning, heating, and electrical fields.
- Ability to operate University maintenance vehicles and tractors.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Good working knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance, repair, and groundskeeping fields.
- High school graduate or GED equivalency preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
