About the position

AtWork Personnel is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Barstow, CA. This full-time, temporary position involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks on a 9/80 work schedule, which allows for every other Friday off. The role requires hands-on work in maintaining housing units, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, and paint units
• Patch and repair walls
• Replace and repair windowpanes, screens, countertops, doors, and locks
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing issues
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Requirements

• Prior experience working in housing units and/or apartments is preferred
• Strong painting skills for interior and/or exterior
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 1 point on driving record
• Must have valid liability car insurance

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
