We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team in Warrenton, VA. This full-time position involves ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems, while maintaining safety standards and enhancing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assessments of equipment performance.
- Conduct HVAC system inspections and repairs as needed.
- Analyze mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Execute stick welding tasks for structural repairs and modifications.
- Work with electrical systems, including troubleshooting as an industrial electrician.
- Use an ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components.
- Maintain hydraulic systems, ensuring they operate efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to complete field service tasks when necessary.
- Document maintenance activities and report on equipment status regularly.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Experience with HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyze complex mechanical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Skilled in stick welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair.
- Familiarity with electrical systems; experience as an industrial electrician is preferred.
- Competence in using an ohmmeter for electrical testing purposes.
