About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Perform electrical repairs and installations, including troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Execute mechanical repairs, including the use of tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
• Oversee and manage maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
• Provide residential painting services as needed, maintaining aesthetic quality throughout the facilities.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers, addressing concerns and providing updates on maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Must have Universal EPA certification.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
• Proficient in electrical systems repair and installation.
• Familiarity with CMMS for efficient management of maintenance tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff or projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques is desirable.
