About the position

The Maintenance Representative plays a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager with daily maintenance operations at Village Apartments of Clinton. This position is focused on ensuring the property is maintained in excellent condition through regular inspections, repairs, and interactions with tenants and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Conduct inspections of grounds, buildings, and individual units according to a set schedule.
• Prepare inspection reports and assess needed repairs.
• Work with the Site Manager to determine if repairs should be handled internally or by outside vendors.
• Meet with vendors to obtain accurate quotes for repairs.
• Clean common areas and maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and landscaping duties.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for painting.
• Complete other maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance practices.
• Physical ability to move appliances, paint, stoop, bend, and work indoors and outdoors as needed.
