About the position

The Maintenance staff at Thunderbird Casino is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility machinery and equipment. This role requires troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond to work orders effectively, ensuring a high-quality guest experience and maintaining a professional atmosphere. The position may require working nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the operational needs of the casino.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facility repairs and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform general maintenance repair and fabrication projects as directed.
• Troubleshoot and utilize advanced skills for maintenance tasks.
• Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and buffers.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude towards customers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with departmental and property policies and procedures.
• Handle work orders in a timely manner and report needed repairs to supervisors.
• Perform construction tasks including framing, millwork, and drywall installation.
• Maintain all finishes and perform repairs on exterior structures and doors.
• Handle hazardous waste disposal and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting procedures and HVAC codes.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Tribal law & regulations.
• Knowledge of various mechanized equipment and chemicals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
