About the position

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role at JLL is designed to support the organization's journey towards achieving a World Class Maintenance operation. This position focuses on enhancing the efficiency of facilities maintenance management and associated labor, allowing for the allocation of time to additional business priorities. The role involves planning and scheduling maintenance activities using the CMMS tool, ensuring compliance with industry standards and optimizing maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and assign all frequency and work type maintenance activities for the assigned team.
  • Optimize maintenance inventory by balancing workload to labor availability.
  • Ensure compliance with client CMMS standards and specifications to maintain database integrity.
  • Manage the asset maintenance parts ordering process (MRO) and optimize efforts through PM Auto ordering where applicable.
  • Create all asset-related purchase requisitions.
  • Collect data and collaborate with the operations team to optimize maintenance programs.
  • Maintain maintenance record compliance to CMMS and business process standards through periodic data auditing.
  • Liaise with facilities technicians and management regarding work execution and schedule alterations.
  • Track all asset information, including spare parts and documentation.
  • Arrange for special tools and equipment as needed.

  • Continuously improve the work planning and scheduling process through metrics review and analysis of work order flow.
  • Submit and document database record changes using the client CMMS change request system.
  • Regulate Critical Environment facility management services to prevent business impact and equipment downtime.
  • Establish objectives and processes to maintain critical infrastructure at optimum performance.
  • Identify open, unscheduled, and/or unassigned work by running prescribed work order queries in Assignment Manager.
  • Provide weekly reports to facility managers, identifying risks and gaps with resolution plans.
  • Build object structure in CMMS and develop/maintain standard operating procedures for CMMS/Storeroom operations.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in facilities management with strict planning and scheduling protocols for operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling the work of hourly employees using CMMS systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • One (1) year+ of experience in a Critical Environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or management.
  • Experience with SQL or Oracle.
  • Experience with report writing or generating software.

  • Full-time position with competitive salary range of $74.8K - $94.7K per year.
