About the position
The Facilities Technician role at Multimatic involves maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of facility systems. The technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks, operating forklifts and aerial lifts, and adhering to safety protocols while documenting maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Qualified Forklift operator
- Qualified aerial lift operator
- Follow a documented PM schedule
- Perform all tasks outlined in the PM forms
- Be self-motivated to complete tasks/documentation on time
- Report on the condition of each facility systems
- Keep hand tools, power tools, and supplies organized and clean
- Perform duties in a safe manner and adhere to all PPE requirements
- Document any parts required for current and future PM activities
- Be committed to Multimatic's Continuous Improvement Principals
Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts and aerial lifts
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to document maintenance activities accurately
- Strong organizational skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements
