About the position

The Sales Professional role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious individuals who are eager to build strong relationships with customers while promoting T-Mobile's exceptional product and service offerings. This position focuses on acquiring new business in underserved markets through proactive sales strategies, including prospecting, cold-calling, and networking. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas by effectively demonstrating the value of T-Mobile's solutions and tailoring recommendations to close deals.

Responsibilities

  • Independently generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Identify customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Partner proactively with Retail Stores in assigned territory to drive Business Sales results through education on Business Sales products and services and closing on Business Sales leads.
  • Fully apply all sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools.
  • Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products, services, industry trends, and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace.
  • Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Outside sales experience with proven history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment
  • 2 years Experience solutions/applications selling
  • 2 years Telecommunications / technical sales
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations.
