About the position

The Major Account Manager Hospital position at Stericycle is focused on maintaining and developing relationships with hospital clients to enhance service quality and drive business growth. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing customers through ethical methods to optimize service quality and business growth.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional services to increase revenue within each customer's portfolio.
  • Conduct outbound customer outreach calls weekly.
  • Maintain a high-profile presence in the market through client care visits to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct strategic account reviews with assigned customers to assess service needs and usage trends.
  • Formulate strategies to retain customers where revenue may be decreasing.
  • Handle and resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Complete standard weekly and quarterly reports along with any ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Participate in sales training and special projects as directed by management.
  • Adhere to security and safety policies related to operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of four years of account management experience.
  • Understanding of document destruction, records management, business continuity, and risk management solutions preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and strong internet skills.
  • Mobility to drive a motor vehicle throughout the day for business needs.
  • Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day and walk for up to four hours per day.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and communicate effectively over the phone.
