About the position

The Major Appliance Technical Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service in the luxury appliance industry. This position involves responding to customer inquiries, providing troubleshooting assistance, and ensuring accurate information is relayed to both customers and repair technicians. The advisor is expected to maintain a professional image while efficiently resolving issues and managing parts orders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting/diagnostic assistance to repair technicians.
  • Provide end user customers with product knowledge, parts and service information.
  • Research technical bulletins and repair knowledge-base to ensure information provided to the repair technicians is current and accurate.
  • Follow-up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
  • Send Pick Tickets to Warehouse for shipping of parts to customers and 3rd party techs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years customer service experience and parts management (Appliance or HVAC experience is a plus).
  • Mechanical knowledge related to appliance repair.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAGE100, MSI Service Pro, Zoho CRM.
