About the position

The Majors Account Executive at Trellix is responsible for cultivating new account relationships and business opportunities targeting large enterprise accounts within a specified geographic territory. This role involves meeting and exceeding sales quotas, building future sales pipelines, and engaging with senior decision-makers to introduce Trellix's cybersecurity solutions. The position requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the ability to provide high-impact presentations and technical product demonstrations to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business by meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.
  • Build new accounts in the territory, maximizing opportunities for short- and long-term revenue.
  • Develop future sales pipelines through deep account and territory planning.
  • Introduce Trellix's products as the best security solutions for customers.
  • Build relationships within client accounts at every level.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers and influencers regarding the impact of Trellix's strategy and solutions.
  • Explore multiple technology solutions and alternative product offerings for clients.
  • Provide sales experience through high-impact presentations and technical product demonstrations, both virtually and in-person.
  • Partner with teams such as Product, Engineering, and Sales Operations to close complex networking-security opportunities at the C-level.
  • Understand important financial metrics related to goal completion and pipeline activity forecasting.
  • Become an expert in the domain, understanding solutions, competitors, and the industry.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in selling security-focused software and cloud solutions to large enterprise organizations.
  • Proven customer-centric selling experience aimed at increasing revenues and providing long-term solutions.
  • Direct selling experience that produces new account relationships and drives quota completion.
  • Existing relationships and established contacts within the industry.
  • Deep knowledge of networking topologies and technologies used by customers.
  • Experience closing seven-figure deals and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to adjust communication style to fit the audience and simplify complex issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a multi-tiered, multi-divisional sales organization.
  • Background in high technology and/or information security environments.
