About the position

The Majors Account Executive at Trellix is responsible for providing industry-leading security solutions to major accounts in the Pacific Northwest / Seattle area. This role focuses on maximizing customer support and satisfaction while exceeding assigned revenue quotas. The executive will collaborate with sales leaders, existing customers, and partners to demonstrate how Trellix's solutions can meet and exceed customer requirements, ultimately driving revenue growth and building future sales pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed assigned revenue quota.
  • Grow named accounts, maximizing opportunities for short and long-term revenue.
  • Build future sales pipelines through deep account and territory planning.
  • Partner with the Sales Engineering team to close complex networking-security opportunities at the C-Level.
  • Identify new opportunities outside the primary product portfolio in collaboration with other teams.
  • Produce and close both software and professional service opportunities.
  • Participate in sales conference calls and new customer engagements, providing product demonstrations both virtually and in person.
  • Work with the sales leadership team to strategize on sales approaches.
  • Ensure successful on-site product evaluations.
  • Provide sales expertise through technical and product presentations, product demonstrations, pilot implementations, and ongoing consultation.

Requirements

  • Successful background in selling security-focused software, cloud, and related professional services to large enterprise organizations.
  • Experience growing a business remotely within a virtual environment.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to an executive-level audience providing complex security-based solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of networking topologies and technologies used by customers.
  • Direct selling expertise to produce additional opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Existing relationships and established contacts with intimate knowledge of customer challenges and needs.
  • Proven customer-centric selling experience to increase revenues and build lasting value to customers.
  • Experience working in a multi-tiered, multi-divisional sales organization.
  • 10+ years of combined experience in a high technology and/or information security environment.
