About the position

Pathway Caring for Children is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Therapist who is passionate about empowering individuals and families to overcome challenges and thrive. This role allows for flexible scheduling, enabling you to work part-time or full-time, and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and families. You will conduct assessments, collaborate with families to create personalized treatment plans, provide therapy sessions, and offer crisis intervention when needed. The position also includes access to clinical supervision and mentorship to support your professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough client assessments to understand their needs and challenges.
• Delivering therapy services that empower clients to reach their treatment goals.
• Providing crisis intervention and risk assessments to ensure safety and stability.
• Documenting care using our EHR system to maintain quality and compliance.
• Collaborating with a team to ensure holistic care.

Requirements

• Current licensure in Ohio (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, etc.).
• A bachelor's degree or higher in clinical counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Experience delivering evidence-based mental health services (preferred).
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with telehealth counseling or group therapy.
