About the position

The Make Ready Technician position at BGSF involves preparing recently vacated apartments for new occupants. This role is essential in the property management industry, ensuring that apartments meet inspection standards and are ready for move-in. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the completion of turning recently vacated homes into apartments ready for occupancy.
• Trash out recently vacated apartments.
• Change/Repair bulbs, filters, and locks.
• Install appliances and repair general punch items, including some light electrical and plumbing work.
• Ensure apartment homes will pass inspection for new move-ins.
• Perform exterior and interior painting and caulking, as well as light drywall repair.
• Conduct painting, pressure washing, and leaf blowing of breezeways and parking lots.

Requirements

• Dependable transportation to and from work.
• Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability.
• Ability and desire to assist with other community projects.
• Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed.
• Ownership of a set of basic hand tools (e.g., screwdriver, channel lock/pliers, wrenches).
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
