About the position

The Maintenance Technician position at Bellaire Multifamily focuses on maintaining the property to high standards while ensuring resident satisfaction through prompt repairs and upkeep. The role is essential for increasing the net operating income of the property by managing maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders
• Ensure all work orders are responded to within 24 - 48 hours
• Repair and improve all units prior to residents' move-in date
• Maintain pool and understand basic pool care (chemical readings, making chemical adjustments, and back-washing)
• Perform basic carpentry skills
• Safely operate equipment such as power washer, backpack blower, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaner, and sweepers
• Maintain grounds by removing debris and trash
• Report supply needs to Lead Maintenance and/or Community Manager and maintain shop organization
• Be on call for after-hours emergencies

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year general maintenance or property experience
• Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience preferred
• CPO Certification preferred
