The Make Ready Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that vacated apartments are restored to 'market ready' status in a timely manner, maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Check all lights and replace as necessary
- Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets
- Check applicable appliances and inform Maintenance Supervisor of problems
- Assist in changing or removing appliances from apartment
- Make keys when necessary
- Check faucets, sink plugs and repair/replace as necessary
- Prep and paint all vacant units
- Repair or replace curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, etc.
- Repair plaster holes in walls and paint as necessary
- Inspect bathroom tiles and perform minor repairs/replacements
- Change A/C filters
- Operate carpet cleaning equipment to clean carpets
- Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists regarding make-ready
- Assist during trash-out of apartment
- Replace vacancy lock on day lock is changed for new resident
- Assist in keeping grounds clean at all times
- Assist maintenance when requested
- Deliver notices to all apartments
- Report supply needs to Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
