About the position

As a Make-Ready Technician at Magnolia Pointe Apartments, you will play a crucial role in preparing our apartment units for new residents. This position involves working closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all vacant apartments are ready for move-in. Your responsibilities will include determining the work that needs to be done in each unit, informing your supervisor of any necessary supplies, services, and repairs, and executing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the apartments meet our high standards of quality and safety. Your day-to-day tasks will involve repairing or replacing windows, latches, screens, hinges, doors, shelves, baseboards, and other fixtures as needed. You will also assist in changing or removing appliances from apartments, making keys, and changing locks. Regular maintenance tasks such as changing A/C filters, repairing or replacing ceiling fans, and checking faucets and sink plugs will also be part of your role. You will perform surface repairs to sinks and tubs, inspect bathroom tiles, and carry out minor repairs or replacements as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for repairing holes in walls and assisting with painting duties when requested, which includes transferring paint and supplies. Checking all lights and replacing them as needed will also be part of your responsibilities. You may be assigned additional duties as required, making this a dynamic and engaging position within our team.

Requirements

  • Experience in apartment maintenance or related fields.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Efficient and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.
