About the position

Sisley Cosmetics is looking for a Freelance Salesperson/Makeup Artist to join their team at the Sisley counter in a Blue Mercury Store. This part-time position requires a motivated individual with a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional customer service skills, and knowledge of skincare and makeup techniques. The role involves providing personalized makeup consultations, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a professional appearance while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with excellent customer service
• Offer personalized makeup consultations and application services to customers
• Recommend products to customers based on their needs and preferences
• Meet or exceed sales goals set by the brand and store management
• Keep the counter clean, organized and stocked with products
• Maintain knowledge of the brand's products and services, as well as the latest makeup trends
• Attend training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on new products and techniques
• Work with store management to ensure that inventory levels are maintained
• Uphold a professional and polished appearance at all times
• Provide exceptional service to all customers, ensuring their satisfaction with their purchases
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in makeup artistry preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in sales, preferably in the beauty industry
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of makeup application techniques and products, particularly high-end cosmetics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
