About the position

Texas Quality One Medical Services is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Male Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential support to a wheelchair-bound male client. This part-time position requires the PCA to assist with various daily living tasks, ensuring the client maintains a comfortable and dignified lifestyle. The PCA will be responsible for helping the client with bathing, dressing, laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping. The role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for the client and requires a compassionate and reliable individual who can work effectively in a home health environment. The PCA will work Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on weekends from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM. It is essential for the candidate to have reliable transportation and a working contact number at all times to ensure effective communication and timely assistance. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of the client. This position is ideal for someone who is committed to providing high-quality personal care and support to individuals in need.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with bathing and dressing.
• Help with laundry and cleaning tasks.
• Prepare meals for the client.
• Accompany the client on shopping trips.
• Ensure the client's comfort and safety during care activities.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Experience in taking vital signs is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must have a working contact number at all times.

Nice-to-haves

• BLS Certification is preferred.
