Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of mammographic procedures on patients following established protocols.
• Conduct bone densitometry studies as required.
• Ensure the safety and quality of radiographs produced.
• Adhere to radiation protection standards during procedures.
• Participate in the department's continuous quality improvement process.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Graduate of an approved AMA Council of Education program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography certification.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Mammography certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
