About The Position

The Mammography Technologist is registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and is responsible for correctly utilizing mammography, Stereotactic, bone density equipment and the PenRad system. This position ensures compliance to all Regulatory Requirements for MQSA, ACR and TJC. This position performs daily, monthly and annual quality control and maintains continual readiness for regulatory surveys.

Requirements

• Registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Associates degree in radiology technology.
• Certified in mammography by the American College of Radiology or must obtain Mammography certification within one (1) year of hire date.
• BLS Certification.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years as a radiologic technologist.

Responsibilities

• Correctly utilizing mammography, Stereotactic, bone density equipment and the PenRad system.
• Ensuring compliance to all Regulatory Requirements for MQSA, ACR and TJC.
• Performing daily, monthly and annual quality control.
• Maintaining continual readiness for regulatory surveys.
• Proficient in positioning patients for radiograph, mammography, and bone densitometry.
