About the position

The Mammography Technologist performs screening, diagnostic, and interventional mammography procedures, operating mammography equipment and coordinating patient care. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening, diagnostic, and interventional mammography procedures.
• Operate mammography equipment.
• Develop films and coordinate patient care with appropriate services and staff.
• Assist trained staff in performing ultrasound and core biopsies under stereo and ultrasound.

Requirements

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year Experience as a Radiology technologist.
