About the position

The Managed Care Enrollment Supervisor will oversee the Illinois Client Enrollment Service Program within the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. This role involves planning, directing, and evaluating the program while ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations. The supervisor will also manage a team, collaborate with other state agencies, and develop operational protocols and policies for the program.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the Illinois Client Enrollment Service Program.
  • Develop operational protocols for monitoring the CES Program.
  • Establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations regarding mandatory managed care.
  • Draft responses to requests for information and management inquiries related to the CES Program.
  • Serve as a liaison for the Bureau of Managed Care.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of four years of college, preferably in business or public administration.
  • Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two years of contractual experience between public and private entities, monitoring contractual performance guarantees.
  • Two years of professional experience in public and business administration principles and practices.
  • Two years of experience developing and managing supportive programs for public or private organizations.
  • Two years of experience managing the operations of a large, statewide program.
  • Two years of experience working with federal laws and regulations regarding managed care programs.
  • Two years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with medical providers and contractors.
