About the position

The position involves performing systems management and integration functions within an IT company, focusing on establishing and maintaining IT and digital communication infrastructure. The role includes designing and developing solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients, administering digital communication software, training new employees, and enhancing network security. The candidate will also provide technical support, collaborate with third-party providers, and assume a leadership role within the Managed Service Provider (MSP).

Responsibilities

• Perform systems management and integration functions.
• Establish and maintain IT and digital communication infrastructure, including wireless, WAN, and LAN networks.
• Design, develop, and integrate solutions for commercial and public customers.
• Administer and manage digital communication software, including email and user credentials.
• Train new employees on company IT network systems and communication protocols.
• Plan projects, defining scope, documentation, and time management for timely completion.
• Safeguard networks against malware and viruses, enhancing security measures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff members.
• Conduct analysis to identify opportunities for network enhancements.
• Collaborate with third-party providers for optimal network performance.
• Serve as an escalation point for Support Desk personnel.
• Uphold and update certifications in Network and Security technologies.
• Assume a leadership role within the MSP and train Support Desk staff.
• Design and architect networks within specified project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in IT network systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ISP, and VOIP phone support.
• Proficiency in physical and virtual server networking.
• Current Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, and Palo Alto certifications.
• Ability to obtain CCNP certification within 6 months.
