About the position

The Director of Managed Services Finance & Accounting at PwC will lead a team focused on enhancing operational efficiencies and implementing new capabilities for clients. This role involves overseeing financial operations, including transaction processing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while leveraging technology to drive improvements. The Director will also be responsible for developing strategies, fostering team growth, and building long-term client relationships, all while upholding the firm's values and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to implement and operate new capabilities for clients.
  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness in transaction processing, close and consolidation, budgeting and forecasting, and reporting.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process design and financial systems implementation.
  • Identify market gaps and create value propositions to enhance service offerings.
  • Foster an environment where people and technology work together effectively.
  • Support team members in realizing their potential and long-term aspirations.
  • Drive the development of long-term relationships that add value to the firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in finance and accounting operations.
  • Master's degree preferred in Finance & Technology, Business Analytics, or related fields.
  • Certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred.
  • Proven experience in advising organizations on finance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of finance cycles including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), and Acquire-to-Retire (A2R).
  • Familiarity with finance technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with financial systems selection and implementation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with automation and business intelligence tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
