About the position

The Director of Managed Services Finance & Accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is responsible for leading a team that collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance operational efficiencies and implement new financial capabilities. This role focuses on improving transaction processing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while also driving finance transformation initiatives. The Director will leverage technology to optimize finance processes and foster a purpose-led, values-driven culture within the team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to implement and operate new financial capabilities.
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness in transaction processing, close and consolidation, budgeting and forecasting, and reporting.
• Drive finance transformation through process design and implementation.
• Identify market gaps and create value propositions.
• Scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in finance operations or related roles.
• Master's degree preferred in Finance & Technology, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• Proven record of success in advising organizations on finance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong understanding of finance cycles including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), and Acquire-to-Retire (A2R).
• Familiarity with finance technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with financial systems selection and implementation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automation and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau.
• Strong project management capabilities.
