About the position

The Finance & Accounting Managed Services Manager at PwC will lead a team to support clients in implementing and operating new capabilities, achieving operational efficiencies, and leveraging technology. This role involves improving transaction processing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while also focusing on finance transformation and systems implementation. The manager will be responsible for developing skills within the team, resolving issues, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance client service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to implement and operate new capabilities for clients.
• Support clients in improving efficiency in transaction processing, close and consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process design and reporting strategy.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
• Coach team members and encourage personal development.
• Analyze complex ideas and build meaningful recommendations based on data and insights.
• Address sub-standard work and ensure quality client management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with top decision makers at key clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, Managed Services, or BPO.
• Preferred Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in consulting or BPO in Finance and Accounting.
• Experience managing a CFO managed service operation across various finance areas.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in business development and sales.
• Familiarity with CFO managed services in analytics and finance IT tools.
• Experience in developing thought leadership materials.
