About the position

The Managed Services Operations Analyst position at SS&C Technologies is a vital role within the SS&C Innovest Managed Services team, which provides comprehensive operational services to Managed Services Clients. This position is based in Fort Worth, TX, and operates under a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. The primary responsibility of the analyst is to input and maintain financial and accounting data in the InnoTrust trust accounting software, ensuring that all operations align with the defined roles and responsibilities for each client. The analyst will engage in daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational support, working closely with third-party providers to deliver these services effectively. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for processing cash and security activities, including trade settlements, corporate actions, cash movements, and shadow postings. Meeting daily deadlines for processing and reconciliation is crucial, as is the ability to interact with clients regarding operational activities. The analyst will also identify and address reconciliation outages, research and document client-reported issues, and provide user support to clients, ensuring timely resolutions to their requests. Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal departments is essential, as is demonstrating a relentless focus on accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. The position requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and a proactive approach to learning and knowledge management. The analyst will actively manage their assigned workload, support teammates, and escalate issues as necessary. A strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently in a team environment are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain financial and accounting data in InnoTrust for Managed Service Clients.
  • Interact on daily processes amongst the team.
  • Adhere to daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual procedures for processes within Managed Services.
  • Ensure that financial transactions are balanced and documented according to policies and procedures.
  • Process cash and security activity, including trade settlement, corporate actions, cash movement, and shadow posting.
  • Meet daily deadlines for processing and reconciliation.
  • Interact on operational activity with each Client.
  • Identify and work with clients for reconciliation outages.
  • Research, document, and handle client-reported issues, providing user support to Clients and logging requests for timely resolution.
  • Build, maintain, and foster positive relationships with Clients.
  • Work closely with the Client Relationship Team to understand issues and assist in resolution.
  • Demonstrate a relentless focus on accurate and timely processing.
  • Understand Client issues and concerns and escalate as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Actively manage assigned work and issues for resolution or escalation.
  • Take a proactive approach to learning and use established policies and procedures to process within guidelines.
