About the position

The Management Analyst III position at the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) involves providing technical support for information systems projects. The role focuses on assisting the Client Data Management System (CDMS) project team, coordinating meetings, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders. The incumbent will also be responsible for technical documentation, testing, and training of IT systems, while contributing to special projects and IT triage efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Client Data Management System (CDMS) project team and Information Systems Unit (ISU) Director.
  • Facilitate, schedule, and coordinate meetings related to information systems projects.
  • Provide updates on information systems related projects.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors, project staff, and subject matter experts.
  • Assist ISU Director with technical documentation and training of division IT systems.
  • Maintain ISU resource mailboxes and work on special projects.
  • Assist with IT triage.

Requirements

  • Three years experience in conducting studies evaluating operations, programs, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Three years experience in descriptive statistics such as mean, median, mode, or standard deviation.
  • Three years experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Six months experience in designing studies including determining goals, information needed, data sources, and collection methods.
  • Six months experience in making recommendations for changes based on findings.
  • Six months experience in narrative report writing.
  • Knowledge of inferential statistics such as correlation, t-tests, f-tests, or analysis of variance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six months experience in using standard computer software programs for spreadsheets.
