About the position

The Management Analyst position at NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support involves providing executive direction and administrative support for the Command Operations Division. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office products to gather, organize, and share information, as well as coordinating meetings and drafting itineraries. The analyst will ensure adherence to Navy administrative policies and procedures while managing various office operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive direction and support for office administrative operations within the Command Operations Division.
• Utilize Microsoft Office products to gather, organize, and share information.
• Assist in coordinating meetings, command briefing products, and drafting itineraries.
• Complete assignments within information systems such as the NAVSUP tasker system and Defense Travel System (DTS).
• Adhere to Navy administrative policies, procedures, and guidelines in written communication and work products.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• New employees to the Department of the Navy are required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• For GS-11: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09 level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• For GS-09: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS).
• Knowledge of Navy administrative policies and procedures.
