About the position

The Management Analyst position within the Naval Systems Management Activity involves overseeing various management and administrative functions, including human resources coordination, workforce development, data analysis, and manpower management. The role focuses on conducting analytical reviews of human capital and workforce management policies to recommend process improvements and establish sustainable management practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage manpower by organizing assigned billet identification numbers and ensuring accuracy of information associated with positions.
• Coordinate manpower budget actions, including Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution Process to ensure manpower budget for current and future years.
• Utilize automated systems such as DCPDS to execute personnel actions for recruitment, classification, awards, and other HR functions.
• Provide expert-level guidance and advice on manpower and human resources processes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Experience managing manpower and ensuring alignment with command's Authorized Manning Document and Table of Organization.
• Experience coordinating manpower budget actions and processes.
• Proficiency in using automated systems for personnel actions.
