About the position

The Management Analyst will serve in the Workforce Management Division of the NAVSUP Business Systems Center, focusing on managing position and manpower requirements, staffing, and organizational planning. The role involves conducting analytical studies to evaluate management processes and developing staffing reports and recommendations based on workforce data.

Responsibilities

• Manage position and manpower requirements, authorizations, and civilian position records by Billet Identification Numbers (BIN).
• Participate in meetings and discussions involving staffing, organization, and related planning functions.
• Research, validate, and execute special method improvement, organization, and work measurement projects data.
• Determine proper coding of position level details for each BIN, including occupational classification code (OCC), position title, target grade, employee type, and strategic sourcing code (SSC).

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Experience in planning and conducting comprehensive analytical studies of organizational structures and staffing levels.
• Ability to develop and maintain staffing reports, staffing plans, and organizational charts.
• Experience managing manpower requirements and providing updates to organizational tracking systems.
