About the position

The Management and Program Analyst position at NASA's Aeronautics Research Institute (NARI) involves serving as the operations manager to ensure the successful execution of NARI's operations and activities. This role focuses on managing schedules, budgets, risks, and customer engagements while supporting the needs of NARI staff for various workshops, meetings, and research activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve NASA Aeronautics Research Institute's mission by coordinating needs related to aeronautics research and development activities.
• Support the NARI Director in logistics and operations for workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Plan and execute technical events, including venue selection and content development.
• Create materials for events and manage participant engagement.
• Maintain strong relationships with executives and project managers to fulfill NARI's mission.
• Prepare inter-agency agreements, milestone reports, and event summaries.
• Contribute to yearly planning, project management, and budget formulation for NARI activities.
• Lead operations and support staff for successful planning and execution of engagements.
• Identify needs to serve the NASA aeronautics enterprise.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in planning and executing aeronautics-focused conventions and workshops.
• Experience in analyzing and allocating resources for aeronautics-related programs and projects.
• Ability to evaluate logistics and agreements for compliance and recommend improvements.
• A Bachelor's degree in communication, English, journalism, or similar fields is preferred.
