About the position

Responsibilities

  • Meet with managers and executives to define overall project goals and objectives.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules for project phases, ensuring alignment with service goals and policies.
  • Negotiate with managers to obtain necessary resources and support for projects.
  • Establish systems to review, control, and report on project status.
  • Plan and coordinate operating methods and procedures for project mission accomplishment.
  • Direct the development and implementation of employee training related to the project.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience leading major project assignments requiring a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods.
  • Experience with call center technologies and project management principles.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with emerging multi-channel phone and web contact options.
  • Knowledge of digital chat and interactive voice response systems.
