Responsibilities

• Meet with top-level managers and executives to define overall project goals and objectives.
• Prepare action plans and schedules for various phases of project accomplishment.
• Ensure plans are consistent with departmental and service goals, schedules, and policies.
• Prepare recommendations for personnel and budget requirements to accomplish the project.
• Negotiate with managers of various components to obtain needed resources and support.
• Establish a system to review, control, and report on project status.
• Plan, coordinate, and establish operating methods and procedures for project mission accomplishment.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level in the Federal service.
• Experience with a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques.
• Experience in conducting strategic planning related to mission-oriented programs.
• Ability to accomplish complex projects or studies of broad scope.
