About The Position

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12 week summer program designed to provide hands-on experience in retail store management, sales, and operations. Interns will gain practical insights into business-to-business and retail experiences, work closely with a Sales Representative, and engage in a project addressing critical business issues. This internship aims to prepare participants for potential future roles in the Management & Sales Training Program.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
• Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, preferably Spanish.
• Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university at the start of the internship program.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in retail store management and operations.
• Work alongside a Sales Representative to understand outside sales.
• Complete a project addressing critical business issues with peers and leadership support.
• Engage in customer relationship management and sales activities.
• Participate in marketing and promotions efforts within the store.
