About the position

The Management & Program Analyst position at NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support involves conducting analytical studies and monitoring financial reports related to Public Works Department funding execution. The role requires expertise in financial policies and procedures to formulate and execute program budgets, as well as performing statistical analysis to track obligations and project trends.

Responsibilities

• Gather data and conduct analytical studies of financial reports to monitor funding execution.
• Review and analyze annual execution plans for non-labor OPTARS.
• Interpret and implement NAVSUP WSS's financial policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform statistical analysis to track obligations and project trends.
• Analyze Activity Inspection Summaries (AIS) and preventive maintenance plans to develop annual funding levels.
• Review reimbursable estimates associated with engineering and facility repairs.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Experience in budget and management analysis functions involving financial programs, particularly the Enterprise Resource Planning Program (ERP).
• Knowledge of financial policies and procedures to formulate and execute program budgets.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with facility sustainment programs and projects.
• Familiarity with NAVSUP WSS facility support requirements.
