About the position

The Management Trainee Program at Buckle is designed to cultivate the next generation of retail leaders. As a Management Trainee, you will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to enhance your sales, recruiting, and leadership skills, preparing you for a future role as a Store Manager. This position involves training and motivating team members, managing various operational tasks, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The program emphasizes personal and professional growth through hands-on experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Store Manager to develop sales and leadership skills.
• Train and motivate team members, acting as Store Manager in their absence.
• Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks as assigned by store management.
• Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist guests in locating merchandise and fulfilling their needs.
• Achieve personal sales goals and maintain knowledge of current promotions.
• Develop skills to lead and educate new teammates on store standards.
• Manage visual merchandising and product categories in the store.
• Complete store opening and closing procedures accurately.
• Adhere to loss prevention policies and maintain store organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent retail experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
