About the position

The Manager of Corporate Development at Intuit will play a pivotal role in the Corporate Strategy and Development team, focusing on key acquisition and strategy initiatives. This position involves evaluating M&A opportunities, conducting research and analyses, and presenting findings to corporate leadership. The role offers significant exposure to senior leaders and opportunities for career progression, mirroring the work found in top venture capital and investment banking firms.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the entire M&A process including inorganic strategies, market scans, target valuation, due diligence, and deal negotiations.
  • Managing a comprehensive due diligence process that involves several Intuit functions.
  • Applying rigorous financial and valuation acumen to assess M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  • Preparing written narratives and making presentations to business unit leaders and senior corporate executives.
  • Coordinating with the Integration team on planning and execution.
  • Engaging with key business unit and corporate stakeholders across multiple projects and work streams.
  • Developing a network of industry contacts, venture capital/private equity investors, and investment banking/advisory executives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in corporate development, venture capital/private equity, or investment banking.
  • Desire to be a key leader in an active deal team engaging with tech companies and investors.
  • Excellent valuation/analytical skills and creativity in problem solving.
  • Ability to lead a team, coordinate projects, and drive independent analysis.
  • Direct experience managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders in the M&A process.
  • Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to lead teams and build senior executive relationships.
