About the position

The Manager 1, Small & Medium Business Direct Sales - Outside Sales is responsible for managing and monitoring the sales of integrated communication services to small-to-medium business customers. The role focuses on maximizing sales revenues, ensuring optimal staffing and training of sales professionals, and achieving corporate objectives consistently. The manager will lead a team of Account Executives, develop sales strategies, and maintain performance records to drive results and growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor sales of Comcast Ethernet, Internet, Voice, and TV services to small-to-medium business customers.
• Ensure the competence and continuity of qualified small-to-medium business Account Executives through selection, training, and development.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate sales promotions and incentives to meet business goals.
• Monitor employee performance and provide counseling to ensure maximum effectiveness and growth.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain records of sales and performance activities relative to business goals.
• Design and implement overall territory team structure and coordinate with internal teams for efficiency.
• Develop and implement best practices to improve performance and success.
• Coach and motivate sales representatives to achieve and exceed objectives.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales management.

• Experience in managing sales teams in a telecommunications or technology environment.
• Strong analytical skills for processing and analyzing sales data.
