About the position

The Manager of Software Development & Engineering at Comcast Corporation is responsible for leading a team that develops and manages sales tools for Comcast Business. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of software and web applications, ensuring that projects meet specifications and deadlines while driving departmental efficiencies. The position also requires collaboration with various teams to enhance software products and applications, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team responsible for providing Comcast Business Sales tools for Pre-Sales and Sales operations functions.
• Lead a team of Software Development Engineers in planning and designing software and web applications using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Cloud Technologies, .NET framework, C# .NET, and JavaScript.
• Perform API development, Agile Software Development, and code review.
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 using MS Dynamics 365 certification.
• Manage projects from design to testing, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications utilizing SSIS, HTML, MS SQL Server, PowerBI, and SSRS.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to conduct testing.
• Develop and administer performance standards for the organizational unit.
• Develop processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assist in the development of meeting and departmental budget.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Architecture and Development of Microsoft Dynamics-based CRM software development.
• Implement the software development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to the software engineering team and other departments in identifying product and technical requirements.
• Direct implementation initiatives for new software products and applications.
• Organize software update processes for existing applications and coordinate the roll-out of software releases.
• Manage deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines, specifications, and budgets.
• Implement performance metrics and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, any Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Seven (7) years of experience configuring and customizing Dynamics 365.
• Experience using Microsoft Power Platform, .NET framework, C#.NET, and JavaScript.
• Experience performing API development, Agile Software Development, and code review.
• Experience utilizing SSIS, HTML, MS SQL Server, PowerBI, and SSRS.
• One (1) year of experience must include using Azure Cloud Technologies.
• Must be certified in MS Dynamics 365.
