About the position

Intuit is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for Event Communications to join our Lifecycle Marketing and Operations team. This role is pivotal in setting the communications strategy for customer and prospect journeys across various marketing channels, including owned and industry partner events. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and insightful marketer with a strong interest in understanding audiences and designing tailored communication strategies to drive engagement and event attendance. In this position, you will develop cross-channel campaigns that integrate email, SMS, in-product messaging, and other channels to create a seamless customer experience. You will oversee the communication strategy for all events, ensuring that the team builds an optimal end-to-end journey that is repeatable and documented for scalability. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including event leads and the sales team, is essential to define targets and exceed goals through innovative approaches and rapid iteration of strategies. You will also be responsible for implementing test and learn strategies, such as A/B testing, to continuously improve event communication and optimize engagement. By leveraging insights from data analytics, you will segment audiences and tailor communications to enhance customer engagement and retention through personalized event experiences. Performance analysis will be a key component of your role, as you will monitor and analyze the effectiveness of event communication campaigns and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cross-channel campaigns across email, SMS, and in-product communications for in-person and virtual events.
  • Oversee the communication strategy across all events to ensure an optimal end-to-end journey that is repeatable and documented.
  • Collaborate with event leads and the Sales team to define targets and exceed goals through innovative strategies.
  • Align event communications with overall marketing goals and brand messaging by working with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement test and learn strategies, including A/B tests, to improve event communication and drive attendance.
  • Leverage positioning, messaging, and buyer personas to target segments and generate qualified leads.
  • Optimize event communication strategies to maximize lead acquisition and nurture prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Ensure seamless handoff of leads to the LCM sales team and track the effectiveness of lead generation activities.
  • Implement targeted communication strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention through personalized experiences.
  • Analyze key market segments to develop compelling messaging and marketing offers.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of event communication campaigns, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience leading a team for Lead Generation and/or Events.
  • Proven ability to craft and execute comprehensive communication strategies across multiple channels.
  • Deep understanding of customer and prospect journeys, with the ability to tailor messaging for different segments.
  • Experience integrating communication efforts across various channels to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to use insights and analytics for refining communication strategies.
  • Innovative mindset with a willingness to experiment with new communication approaches and technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
