About the position

The Marketing Manager 2, Web Operations role at Intuit's TurboTax division is a key position within the Consumer Group business unit. This role involves managing a team responsible for executing and maintaining web-based marketing experiments and personalized user experiences. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in web operations, with a strong focus on collaboration across various teams to enhance TurboTax's online presence and user engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team responsible for executing go-to-market setup and maintenance of TurboTax experimentation across the TurboTax.com domain.
  • Partner and work cross-functionally with product, XD, engineering, analytics, and web operations teams to align on priorities and activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, supporting web operations peers in problem-solving and validating A/B test setups.
  • Identify and problem-solve roadblocks and functional requirements for successful task completion, liaising with technical product development and quality assurance teams.
  • Collaborate with XD resources to ensure designs fit within existing templates and components, and perform quality assurance of pages using current web standards.
  • Provide and execute on SEO best practices, site mapping, user pathways, and information architecture.
  • Develop and execute processes to improve content quality, maintainability, and usability for template-driven pages and associated test experiences.
  • Vet requirements from marketing strategy, product managers, and other key stakeholders to accurately size project requests.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a deadline-sensitive environment to ensure all work is completed according to department standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in marketing experimentation software, content personalization methodologies, and customer data platforms.
  • Direct hands-on experience with platforms such as Adobe Target, VWO, Optimizely, Salesforce, Twilio, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience using Content Management Systems, with the ability to run browser-based application testing and debugging.
  • Experience with WordPress, Stackbit, or Adobe Experience Manager preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Agile software development methodology and Project Management processes, leveraging tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts and recommendations clearly and with attention to detail.
  • Hands-on knowledge of UX, SEO, and other factors impacting web conversions.
  • Skilled in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, with experience creating UI experiences from Figma.
  • Effective cross-team collaborator, able to work across multiple creatives and stakeholders.
