About the position

Intuit is seeking a Senior Manager for the Mailchimp product development organization, focusing on the Landing Pages and Surveys team. This role involves leading a team to modernize capabilities, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering exceptional user experiences. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to guide the team through change and foster collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide constructive feedback and co-create growth plans with team members.
• Build a high-performing team by hiring and evaluating performance based on engineering rubrics.
• Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, scalable web applications.
• Engage in product, tech, and architecture details to co-create feasible development plans with stakeholders.
• Drive continuous modernization and improvement of operational and performance metrics.
• Coach the team to deliver high-value outcomes while managing deadlines and deliverables.
• Help teams maintain clarity over vision and priorities amidst challenges.
• Collaborate with peer managers to foster a culture valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Proactively identify and resolve team blockers to maintain velocity and deliverable value.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineering manager.
• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong track record of full-stack development, both backend and frontend.
• Experience with microservice architecture and single-page application frameworks, specifically React.
• Demonstrated experience in change management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to grow team members' skills and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience in breaking down barriers across teams to enable urgency.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PHP, MySQL, AWS technologies.
• Familiarity with Kotlin and Java.
• Knowledge of Spring Framework.
