About the position

Join Intuit's Identity platform team as a Software Engineering Manager, where you will be a founding member of a new initiative aimed at building a large customer network. This role focuses on developing platform capabilities such as identity verification, KYC/KYB, identity resolution, and more, to enhance customer-business connections and support various use cases including fraud prevention and personalized recommendations. You will influence strategy and vision while working in a startup-like culture within a well-established organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high performing engineering team to deliver platform capabilities at scale.
• Create an environment where world-class engineers can excel.
• Instill and drive software engineering standards and best practices.
• Employ strong business and technical acumen to guide the team.
• Create a shared vision and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Partner with Product Management to understand requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Build a culture of innovation and operational excellence on the team.
• Develop business cases for new capabilities and conduct resource estimation.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 6-7 years of software development experience in modern distributed systems.
• Domain knowledge of identity, knowledge graphs, or machine learning is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in leading positive change and empowering teams.
• Ability to think strategically for all stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Agile software development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in identity verification or KYC/KYB processes.
• Knowledge of machine learning applications in software development.
